As a Senior Project Director, Michelle leads our partnership with Albertsons Companies (2200+ stores nationwide), which covers fresh and frozen, sushi, and shelf-stable seafood. Michelle works to advance environmental, social, and traceability improvements in seafood supply chains through FishWise’s partnerships. Prior to FishWise, Michelle worked for MRAG Americas as an MSC CoC auditor and for New Zealand’s Ministry of Fisheries and Ministry for Primary Industries, within their respective fisheries science and fisheries management teams. Michelle has a B.S. in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara and an M.S. in Marine Science from the University of Otago in New Zealand.
