Sea Delight, LLC, was founded in 2006 in the Doral area of Miami, Florida, as an initiative that sought to target the high-quality frozen and fresh seafood product market. Sea Delight is committed to sustainability by actively working with Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs), supporting fisheries working towards the goal of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification in Indonesia, Vietnam, Ecuador, and Central America. Sea Delight also provides training to local fishermen in using more responsible fishing practices and is committed to supporting circle-hook trial programs with their suppliers. FishWise will encourage Sea Delight’s sustainable seafood program by evaluating their current FIPs and helping them develop a funding model to finance current and future conservation projects.
