The Roadmap for Improving Seafood Ethics (RISE), is a free, publicly available online platform that guides companies as they implement human rights due diligence. RISE provides resources to catalyze meaningful industry action around three key Foundations: responsible recruitment, decent work at sea, and worker engagement. 

The Roadmap is built specifically for the seafood industry to address the unique challenges and opportunities that exist within its supply chains. Through RISE, companies can access credible, industry-specific tools and interactive resources such as eLearning modules and a self-assessment tool. 

RISE is aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and supports companies in upholding core International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions and building towards the ILO Decent Work Agenda and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). RISE was created by FishWise with the support of the Walmart Foundation.
