Organization Description:

Foundation for Aquaculture Innovations and Technology Transfer (FAITT) is a non-profit private Research and Development (R&D) Centre established in 2020 at Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India to provide a focus for aquaculture research and development throughout the country as well as all over the world.

Role in Indian Shrimp Aquaculture: FAITT’s shrimp-specific work includes disease diagnostics and pathogen research, feed quality analysis, training and technology transfer, and industry engagement and domestic market development. FAITT received FAO recognition, and its founder has also received an award for Best Shrimp Hatchery from the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
