Organization Description:

Society of Aquaculture Professionals (SAP) was established by a group of like-minded people for knowledge sharing and development advocacy in aquaculture, with 500+ life members and the biennial AquaIndia conference as its flagship event.

Role in Indian Shrimp Aquaculture: SAP is one of eight national organizations currently working under one umbrella on the Collaborative Shrimp Disease Investigation Program (CoSDIP). It also regularly publishes national shrimp crop reviews drawing on production data from Andhra Pradesh and other major producing states.
