Organization Description:

WWF-India is the Indian affiliate of the global conservation organisation, working to protect nature through conservation, sustainable use of natural resources, and promotion of responsible production practices across agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture.

Role in Indian Shrimp Aquaculture: WWF-India helped India's first two ASC-certified shrimp farms achieve certification in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, and is working through its Sustainable Seafood Network to build domestic auditing and certification infrastructure to reduce the cost of compliance for Indian producers
