This video shows how creating women’s associations can benefit the small-scale fisheries post-harvest sector, economic development, and people’s livelihoods. In this example, a group of women learned that working together, developing capacity through training, and creating a loan and savings association where their leaders are democratically elected will benefit the economic development of their communities and their families.
