Seafood Expo North America 2026: Credibility in Action

FishWise returns to Boston during Seafood Expo North America at a pivotal moment for the seafood industry.

For more than 20 years, FishWise has worked alongside retailers, suppliers, and seafood producers to embed environmental sustainability and human rights due diligence into sourcing decisions, procurement systems, and risk management frameworks. Our work spans counter-IUU traceability systems, vessel risk analysis, corporate accountability frameworks, and co-designed improvement initiatives in key sourcing regions.

At SENA 2026, we are bringing that experience to the forefront.

In a year shaped by political volatility, shifting trade dynamics, and growing expectations around transparency and human rights due diligence, FishWise will focus on what credible implementation looks like in practice.

We look forward to reconnecting with partners, meeting new stakeholders, and advancing practical solutions that strengthen transparency, accountability, and long-term resilience across seafood supply chains.

What FishWise Brings to SENA 2026

FishWise’s presence reflects the depth of our field experience and the systems-level work we advance year-round. Here are some of the topics we will be discussing.

Operational Traceability & Risk Tools
Through initiatives such as the Vessel Risk Dashboard and structured traceability frameworks, we support companies in identifying risk, strengthening import compliance, and transforming data into actionable oversight.

Human Rights Due Diligence in Practice
FishWise works with buyers to move beyond policy statements toward procurement systems that integrate labor risk assessment, supplier engagement, and accountability mechanisms.

Corporate Accountability & Governance Reform
We engage directly in policy and regulatory spaces, supporting practical pathways for companies navigating evolving import controls, SIMP requirements, and global due diligence expectations.

Field-Based Impact Linked to Market Influence
From shrimp supply chains in India to collaborative fishery improvement and aquaculture dialogues, FishWise connects sourcing-region engagement with buyer requirements and market signals.
